Welcome Our President – Mr. Rick Fink, President, The Master Butler Collection
It is with the greatest pride and deepest respect that we welcome Mr. Rick Fink as the esteemed President of the Master Butler Collection.
From the tender age of ten, Mr. Fink knew he was destined to serve—not only with skill, but with purpose, precision, and quiet excellence. His journey began in the Royal Navy, where he served as valet to Rear Admiral Torlesse, and later had the distinguished honour of attending to Prince Philip, Mr. Pandit Nehru, and other eminent leaders during his time at sea.
He quickly rose to the rank of Petty Officer Steward and spent two remarkable years in service to Admiral Sir William Davis, hosting state-level dignitaries including the Kings of Denmark and Norway, and the Queen of the Netherlands.
Upon returning to civilian life, Mr. Fink continued to uphold the highest traditions of service in some of England’s grandest estates, including an 11-year tenure with the Honourable Charles Cecil. His expertise and discretion would go on to earn him personal service appointments to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Princess Margaret, Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Princess Diana, and numerous members of both British and international royalty.
Since 2002, Mr. Fink has trained and inspired the next generation of professional butlers through his Butler-Valet School at Ditchley Park—a setting as dignified as the standards he imparts. For over two decades, Ditchley Park has been the home of his teaching legacy, where hundreds of students from around the world have benefitted from his incomparable experience.
In 2025, Mr. Fink announced that he will step back from full-time training at the end of the year. However, his influence will continue through select overseas programs and through his guidance as President of the Master Butler Collection.
He is described by peers and dignitaries alike as “the consummate professional,” “a tribute to the British Armed Forces and his craft,” and “the finest example of the English Butler.”
As President of the Master Butler Collection, Mr. Fink brings not only decades of mastery but a heartfelt mission:
“My students will receive every opportunity to develop the butler and valet skills that I was taught—with a 21st century approach. I feel privileged to offer this to a new generation, while paying homage to a bygone age.”

Robert’s gift lies in seamlessly adapting butler service traditions to a diverse array of cultures and luxury environments, always maintaining the highest standards of elegance and discretion. He also served as *General Manager of Coco Privé, the Maldives’ most exclusive private island, earning prestigious global accolades such as *World’s Best Private Villa. As *Interim General Manager at Château de La Croix des Gardes* in Cannes, he continues to blend heritage elegance with modern operational excellence.
Paul is also Co-founder of *White Glove Global Consultancy*, delivering tailored training and management solutions to high-end properties and private clients worldwide.

With an illustrious career spanning Europe and the United States,
Mr. Eman has held prominent roles in luxury hotels, private estates, elite cruise lines, and senior-level corporate hospitality. A graduate Cum Laude of The International Butler Academy, his classical education is further enriched by his studies at prestigious hotel management schools in Germany and the Netherlands, forming the foundation for a career that combines timeless tradition with modern innovation.
Mr. Eman currently serves as Lead Trainer and Managing Director of the Hotel Butler Academy, as well as Director of Education & Development for River Academy DE GmbH – United Waterways. His work has taken him across private residences, luxury yachts, and entire cruise fleets, where his training programs are renowned for their immersive role-play, interactive group assignments, and a core philosophy of “learning by doing.”
A true educator at heart, Olaf engages professionals at all levels—from frontline operations to senior executives—with a commitment to fostering not only skill but self-awareness, pride, and precision. Rory’s journey in service excellence began in the Caribbean, where his natural talent, deep cultural sensibility, and passion for refined hospitality set him apart from the start. His career has since flourished across the globe, with notable tenures in prestigious resorts such as Sandals Emerald Bay and Sandals Grande Ocho Rios, where he led butler teams in delivering the highest calibre of service across 76 suites and beyond.
Rory is the Founder of Mastering Excellent Service, a bespoke consultancy dedicated to elevating luxury standards across villas, resorts, and private estates. With a focus on Caribbean hospitality, his training programs blend warmth, precision, and elevated guest experiences, transforming service teams from good to exceptional. His expertise in butler service, food & beverage, and leadership development has made him a sought-after trainer across the Caribbean and beyond.
A Certified Butler Service Trainer and graduate of The Guild of Professional English Butlers, Rory was mentored early in his career by esteemed Director Robert Watson. His experience includes operational and management roles in customer service, entertainment, concierge, and villa management—most recently as General Manager of Puerto Seco Beach and Villa & Marketing Manager for Prospect Plantation, Jamaica’s iconic luxury estate.

Raj has also served as Director of Training for the Guild of Professional English Butlers (G.O.P.E.B), London, where he monitored and elevated global butler service standards. His work spans from fleet training for Silversea Cruises to bespoke implementations for Forbes Five-Star resorts, Relais & Châteaux properties, and LHW (Leading Hotels of the World) establishments.

A graduate of Helwan University, Cairo, Mohamed holds a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism & Hotel Management (2001). He is a certified member of both The Guild of Professional English Butlers and The Institute of Modern Butlers, having undergone rigorous professional training in the craft of elevated service.
Throughout his global career, Mohamed has distinguished himself across a variety of destinations and operational styles—ranging from city hotels to family resorts, golf retreats, and adults-only escapes. His portfolio includes celebrated tenures with Rosewood Hotels & Resorts and Sandals Resorts International, culminating in his current role as Assistant Director of Rooms at Rosewood Baha Mar in Nassau, Bahamas. In this position, he oversees Butler Services, Front Office, Concierge, Guest Relations, and Resort Activities, fostering an integrated luxury experience across the guest journey.
Mohamed is a graduate of the prestigious Rosewood Academy’s Aspiring Leader Program, a one-year global leadership exchange that cultivates emerging leaders across the brand.
